As Managing
Director (Paul Jolly)of Affordable
Hearing Care for the last 6 years, it
has been my responsibility to define our
business practices at Affordable Hearing
Care, including our advertising policy.
Consumers appreciate honest,
straightforward business approaches,
which is why I’m giving you 8
reasons Affordable Hearing Care
advertises prices.
1. We believe....the public has
the right to know what hearing aids cost
before their first visit. The basis for
any discounts should be apparent.
2. We believe....that you should
give the client all the information they
need to make an informed decision. This
information should include what
comparable products with the same
features cost.
3. We believe....that when a
person buys a hearing aid, the purchase
should include a free hearing test, free
consultation, free hearing aid checking
and cleaning, free reprogramming and
free follow-up visits. If the purchase
price does not include these services
then the price of these services should
be disclosed in advance.
4. We believe....advertised
prices set a price standard for the
products we offer. This is good for the
consumer by giving them a basis for
comparison.
5. We believe...advertising
prices can protect the public from
supposed discounts off a RRP, a “list”
price or a “regular” price that no one
has ever paid. What matters is what it’s
costing you to buy it.
6. We believe...you don’t have to
sacrifice quality for a good price. You
can truly have both, and at Affordable
Hearing Care you will get both.
7. We believe...if someone offers
to match our prices, they should have
had a lower price to begin with.
8. We believe...it is just as
important to take care of a client after
they purchase a hearing aid as it is the
day they buy the hearing aid, regardless
of the price of their purchase. We offer
a variety of leading brand name hearing
aids, being impartial and not being tied
to any manufacturer means that you the
consumer can be advised impartially.
