Receiver In New Epoq Hearing Aids
The concept
For the
first time in history, the role of
hearing aids is changing. In the past
their sole function was to compensate
for hearing loss. But now they serve as
an intelligent interface between the
user and their environment. Epoq is the
name of this new interface, and its
secret is broadband, wireless
processing.
Epoq and its
companion device - the Epoq Streamer -
offer interfacing in multiple
dimensions:
• It captures the vast array of sounds
in the user’s immediate environment.
• It seizes sounds being transmitted
from distant sources via electronic
devices such as mobile phone.
• It then presents the information in a
way that optimizes the remaining
auditory capabilities of the listener.
Staying

To provide a dynamic interface between
user and environment, Epoqs interact
with each other. Wireless communication
